An "original robe" of The Society of The Purple Shadows; the purple robe is academic style, with three black stripes on each sleeve, and, an attached hooded mask. Robe measures 19x54 inches; manufacturers' label: "Cotrell and Leonard, Inc., 472 Broadway, Albany, New York; Type: Spec; Mat.: #99-P; Yoke: 4; Length: 54." With the robe is a forwarding letter with seal.
